I think it is very apparent that we tend to build our world through communication. Communication is all around us, and can consist of many different techniques. Communication is not only through one person talking to another but can be portrayed through groups, sign language, TV ads, billboards, etc. Communication is surrounding us, even when we might not think that’s the case. We communicate through voice, written words, signing and many other ways. Some things that may differ between our culture in America and a culture in, say Italy is the language first and foremost. Our words may mean the same thing, but can be very different in fact. One major way of communication is through the “world” of Facebook. Millions of people all over the world put their lives on this website which although sometimes dangerous, is a very common sense of communication.
Our communication has changed tremendously over the centuries. Our slang has progressed, changed and even become more of a norm than before. The music and the meanings behind our music seem to have changed, although to a more inappropriate stage than before. We have much more technology than we did in the past. We have ability to texting, phone calls, and emails, Skype, Facebook, Myspace, Twitter and so much more. These many ways of communication can contribute to our happiness because now with these programs such as, Facebook, we are able to locate and connect with our friends that we have lost all contact with. We have a huge success with communicating because we have so many different avenues of communication that we can take. Communication is a part of us in every way, shape and form.
